India Brook Partners advises Allied Old English on acquisition of Homade Chili Sauce® brand

 

Short Hills, NJ, February 1, 2016. India Brook Partners is pleased to announce that Brook Advisors, the advisory arm of India Brook Partners, represented Allied Old English, Inc. in connection with Allied’s recent purchase of the Homade Chili Sauce® brand and business, which was acquired from Ventura Foods. Allied acquired this well established specialty condiment brand and will transition manufacturing of the Homade Chili Sauce product to Allied’s manufacturing facility in Port Reading, NJ.

 

Homade Chili Sauce is a long established brand of chili sauce that has been distributed around the country since the 1970’s and has been owned for many years by Ventura Foods, Brea, California.

 

Based in Port Reading, New Jersey, Allied Old English is a manufacturer and marketer of specialty foods including condiments, sauces, jams and jellies, under national brands including Sorrell Ridge, Saucy Susan, and Plantation Molasses. Allied is also a leading domestic manufacturer of Asian style sauces under the Sun Luck and Dai Day brands, among others.

 

India Brook Partners is assisting Allied with a national acquisition search in the condiment and specialty sauce segment. India Brook originated this acquisition and represented Allied in the negotiations.
